Martyr Song

Remedy

to the many faithful that have fallen by the sword

some tied to flame and some in prayerful huts or

One crowned with thorns and pierced with nails, my Lord

is what i'm living for worth dying for

on barricaded roads and bullet riddled paths to praise

land mines cannot prevent their worship

and still their blood cries out to the Ancient of Days

and in the end, He'll make it worth it

is what i'm living for worth dying for

you can take my body you can break my bones

but you can't take my soul

the persecuted children's cry has reached to the ears of the Almighty One

eternity is worthy of this way

take up your cross and follow me this way

is what i'm living for worth dying for

you can take my body you can break my bones

but you can't take my sou

if it were my son with his head held to a gun

where would I find the strength to lay him on the alter

and if it were my bride and if they took her from my side

could I say 'Father forgive them for they know not what they do'
