I've always said
Don't put your trust in the wrong person, or you'll wind up dead
If you need to find another way to ease your mind
Be true to yourself and in time everything will be fine
Today's a good day to live up to my reputation
Today's a good day to free us up and ska the nation
And no matter what you say the groove will continue to play
Play until the day we are repaid
Here I sit thinking about the road that we have traveled
And every other man still hopes that we become unraveled
