In Robes Of Golden Sunlight

Wilting Rose

And she dances in the street

In robes of golden sunlight

Dancing, oblivious to all around

Dancing, to keep from the night

She doesn't see them looking

She never sees them stare

All she wants to do is dance

Dance, without a care

They tried to ignore her pain

As the person she used to be

They're all blinded by her now

As she dances upon the street

She dressed herself in blazing red

And, blocking out all their jeers,

Danced to blind their prying eyes

So they wouldn't see her tears
