In my room lying on my bed
The air is heavy, hot, and still
Lady Luck has left me or I'm under the wings of destiny
Which is true I wait for time to tell
I dream that fog surrounds me
I dream this on a restless summer night
It cloaks- it's all around me
And when it's there I feel that all is right
You see this fog it frees me
When no one else can see me I can hide
I lie awake and dream that fog rolls in
My mind roams cross-oceans and years
The time being's become a dead end
Last time I rolled the dice there flashed the eyes of a snake
So I sit and wait for my time to come round again
