Sun Came Bursting Through My Cloud

Smith And Colton

One dreary day,
sad and gloomy grey,
cold wind blew the north sign on the rooftop weather vane
The sky was overcast
moving mighty fast,
when at the very moment I expected falling rain,

sun came bursting through my cloud,
breaking daylight through the misty shroud
You came walking out from in the crowd

As I caught your gaze
a golden summer haze
seemed to force a clearing in the shadow of the storm
Standing face to face,
all the crowded space
became a dark horizon 'round the breaking of the dawn

Sun came bursting through my cloud,
breaking daylight through the misty shroud
You came walking out from in the crowd
to the sunlight from the shade
You were clearing in the winter pane,
making shelter from the coming rain

Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Doo...
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo, doo, doo doo

Sun came bursting through my cloud,
breaking daylight through the misty shroud
You came walking out from in the crowd
to the sunlight from the shade
You were clearing in the winter pane,
making shelter from the coming rain
Doo, doo, doo doo
Doo, doo, doo doo
Sun come bursting through my cloud
Doo, doo, doo doo...
