Per Gessle Talks P

I started to write Debris in June 2019, but didn′t work on it properly until a year after
Then it was summer 2020 in Halmstad, in Sweden
Corona everywhere
I wrote it on an acoustic guitar
And I wrote both the verse and the chorus basically at the same time
It a pretty quirky song, a little bit like Roxette's "Crash! Boom! Bang!"
I heard from the beginning that the chorus just had to be sang by Helena and Dea

Clarence Öfwerman and Magnus Börjeson did a great job arranging and producing this
I love that synthesizer sound they use in the intro
It reminds me of the theme song to The Persuaders, starring Roger Moore and Tony Curtis

I adored that TV show when I grew up
Christoffer Lundquist helped us out with some more guitar parts on this one
As well as playing the solo on his magnificent ond matinor machine
