The people stand outside
They′re smoking in their gowns
And drinking up the sunThen spitting on the ground
The automatic doors
Slide open like a drawer
Inside the clothes are crumpled
I'm walking to the ward
There are so many doors
There′s lemon in the air
And lemon on the floor
It's clinging to my clothes
It's stinging in my nose
The dirt is dying humble
Some little fish swim, inside a little tank
I stop to look them, they seem to look back
I want to break the glass and send them to the sea
But it′s not up to me
The decorated smiles
Guide me to his room
But my feet refuse to move
I linger like perfume
I stop to take a breath
And hold it in my chest
He flew a hundred planes
Across a thousand skies
And turned the engines off
Not fearing he would die
Machines they can restart
It′s harder for a heart
Some little fish swim, inside a little tank
I stop to look them, they seem to look back
I want to break the glass and send them to the sea
But it's not up to me
And if I could take them with me you know I would
I would take them home
But I looked into their eyes and I understood
That it′s not my choice, no it's not up to me
It′s not up to me
No, it's not up to me
It′s not up to me
No, it's not up to me
It's not up to me
No, it′s not up to me
It′s not up to me
