The angel found himself tonight
Wings clipped he still would try and fly away
Defiance seen by Gods eyes
For truth could come from this insight
So my faith has added
Now follow the dust slipping through Gods hands
So God has lost its grip and
Made life crashing round
The angel so innocent
Now paid for the sin of doubt
Confess all your sins and prepare for redemption
The angel declined instead and faced his damnation
Force me to be the thing you've always believed
And now my eyes are open wide can see
The blind lead the blind
Now the sheeps led astray
And he will find his own way
Without the shepard of fear to blind his vision so clear
And I see the light behind your eyes
Force fed since you were a child
Scared-worship-slavery
And now salvation has found that
Were all gods now
Fly away, find yourself
And burn away that sickened piece of you
Ive seen the fear behind your eyes
(and still you love him)
Ive heard the doubt of every prayer you cried
